Traditional Pipe Knives

I started a thread on Bladeforums.com a while ago trying to find out if traditional pipe knives are still being made. Hoping to gain enough interest to make a company like Great Eastern Cutlery or Queen Cutlery do a run of pipe knives.

The closest thing that I can think of that is out there is the Case Baby Doc and they can be hard to find.

That's a beauty for sure. I have a wine knife from Laguiole and it is an excellent tool.

I already knew about this pipe knife. I just can't see spending $227 on a pipe knife. $160 max. Over two bills, and I'm buying a ZT folder or a fixed blade instead. A stag handled, Great Eastern Cutlery multi-blade folder costs less than that Laguiole.

Used to have the Laguiole pocket knife and was very impressed but +1 a little pricey for this pipe tool.

Yeah I have a pipe knife but its just an inexpensive import job. It is actually pretty decently made tho.
