Hi Ron-

I bought a 15 count travel humidor from you a couple weeks ago and need to know how to control the humidity in it? I didn't see any instructions with it so I am unsure the best way to transport. I did notice the pad in the bottom, I am assuming this is what I get wet with distilled water, but how wet? Do I soak it? How long until I have to re-wet it? I am hoping it will stay wet and maintain the rh needed for 10 days while on vacation.

Please let me know.

hello lee. the pad is the Humidity sheet sold by me and Hearfelt industries. It is a silica gel based product. the best way to keep the sheet humidified is to store it in your everyday humidor. then put it in your travel humi when ready to go on a trip. there is enough silica gel in the sheet to last for a couple of weeks. i would advise against actually wetting down the humidity sheet. if you need more help or advice, just give me a call, or ask here. thanks, Ron.
