We have been out for a while as we decided to have the dust settled first, after all what happened.
At first, we decided to discontinue our service and we had some close-out specials. Parallel to the operations we forced an in depth investigation on the smearing campaign towards us and the cases in which we got reported to ****** and to our fast courier shipper.
We finally found out that another vendor was the initiator of the false accusations that were spread around in several online cigar communities. We also found out that this vendor was involved in one of the two cases mentioned above. This could only happen because of us being to open about our business. We made some misjudgments in trusting people.
Due to all these troubles, we were forced to use regular postal service from the country where our bonded warehouse is residing. Unfortunately shipping lead times did go up to 15-75 days, which is outrageous of course. This is not a competitive service at all and that was the reason to decide to discontinue the service.
New shipping service and payment policy
Since one month we have found a new shipper and testing results are very promising. As from today we can:
* ship all our orders free (when exceeding 125 euro) with fast courier shipping service.
* ship within 2-3 days anywhere in the USA. Intact and guaranteed.
In the meantime we did an investigation on discrete payment processing due to all the troubles relating to the letter. Our payment process is (and was) 100% safe. There is no link from VISA/MC or the Payment Service Provider towards our internet-site or the company that is related to the Internet-site. Payments will be processed from a different and anonymous server and customers will be billed by a company selling other products than cigars.
