  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Looking for one for the truck...

Anyone got one? If so, what kind/brand do you have and what's your experience and/or recommendation?

I have an Access roll-up cover over my 2000 Dakota. I've never really liked toppers, and this was the smoothest and easiest to use cover that still held down without those really annoying snaps. Since it clamps on from the inside and rests on the rail, you can still use the outer bedside pockets (if you have them) and keep those other bedrail accessories (for the most part).

I got mine in 2003 for about $350 installed. I've seen a lot of other trucks recently with them, it's a step up from the "Truxedo" cover that has been around for a while.

I would go with the roll up hard bed cover. It gives you the security of keeping things hidden and locked. The hard cover also gives you better gas mileage by directing air over the tailgate.
