The turkey is spinning. 24lbs of some of the best tasting turkey ever. Cooking with charcoal and chunks of hickory. Drip pan under the bird has 64ozs of chicken broth for gravy. Yes that is snow on the ground but that never stopped me from cooking outside.

Brined 2 bone in turkey breast overnight. One on the MES 40 smoker and one on the Weber Genesis. Cruising along nicely.

@Almi, what brand rotisserie did you get? I've seen a few different brands. I told my wife that's what I want for Christmas to put on my Weber Kettle.

I have the Weber kit which come with the spit, motor and the extension. I have had mine so long that I have upgraded the motor to one that is suppose to handle up to 50lbs. The Weber motor is rated for 16lbs but all you need to do is add a counter weight. I did plenty of birds over 20lbs with the Weber motor.
