  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I use my 5 ct for golf, the 10 or 15 ct for long weekends and a 24 count for vacations. I feel the need for the 2 ct as well. Excellent cigar protection for an active person.

you can't fit 5 sublimes in a 5ct, but 5 other regular sized (julieta no. 2s on down) fit fine for me. I'm getting a 2 ct. this week to take cigars into the football stadium. I take my 5 ct. to tailgates and the cigar shop, but I need something smaller to stick in my date's purse to take into the stadium.

I kinda want something classier to stick in the inside pocket of a sports coat, but right now its not a priority.
Agreed. Someday I will probably pony up the $$ for a nice leather pocket carrier. Today is just not the day.

I thought that the Cigar Caddy would be perfect to take over on poker nights. I'll post my opinion of it when it gets here. :smokingbo

I have the 5 and it is great for the golf bag, I like the idea of a 2 as well, but the main purpose of these in for protection in my opinion. You can just throw it anywhere..

I was torn between the 5 and the 2. They were both virtually the same price. I went with the 2 because I have never smoked more than 2 cigars in a day.

Basically, I was just looking for something to transport a smoke from point A to B. I hope this works for that!

I also thought it would be good for camping trips. (although for those I should have bought the 5!)

I went and got a two count and have used it several times. The only thing is is that it does not contain any humidfication device like the others, so it's great for an evening. I'll need to be careful to not leave any cigars in it. I have forgotten that I had cigars in some of the other sizes, and when I find them a week or two later, they're fine.

Mine don't get mushed, I guess it's more in my head. Thinking I am pinching that last cigar on the end when I close it.

Sorry to be necro-posting, but how long do you guys keep a cigar in your Cigar Caddy for? I'm just getting into cigars these days, and I'll buy anywhere from one every other week to two or three a week, and I want something small, safe, secure and cheap to store them in when I don't get a chance to enjoy a smoke for a while. Is the case good enough to use as a "home" humidor as long as you keep up with keeping it humidified?

the cigar caddys are fine for an everyday humidor. just open them once every few days, and be careful not to overhumidify. do not use the humidifier that comes with it. use a humidipak or boveda

I want to get one of the 2-count otterbox just so I can keep some cigars in my work bag. I will also probably end up buying a 5-count also, for weekends.

I recently got a 2 count with 20 DPG cigars for 120.00 so it a win win for me and I've started to use it more then my 3 finger case for everyday use.

I have been using Otterbox and Pelican cases for everything from guns to sunglasses for years so the Cigar Daddy cases both the two and five were accessories I had to have. I travel a lot and spend lots of time on the range. These protect my sticks, and if I drop them on the deck and they get dirty I can just run them under water, try that with other cases.- George

What's up Mercorp? Been a while..

I recently got a 2 finger caddy and I love it. Great prtection for the day. other wise with a Boveda in my 18 ct I leave smokes in there some times until I smoke through them all. A month or more at a time.
