  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Well I'm getting ready to go watch the fights tonight.

Anyone want to bet a 5'er against Silva winning in the first round. If it goes to round 2 you win or if Leites wins in the first round you will win. I just think this will be a quick one.

I wish I would have seen this!!! I would have bet a 5r on that. I knew that Anderson did not want to end the fight fast, because everyone complains... and I knew that he was gonna be waiting for Leites to be on the offense, and that Leites was not gonna be aggressive.

Sorry I missed it and could not take your bet.
Maybe next time.

I agree... that guy had nothing for Silva. He absolutely 0 offense. Silva just played with him the entire 5 rounds, especially the last 2 rounds.

I am pretty sure we saw the last Lidell fight on Saturday night. I hate to see it, but I hate seeing him get his ass handed to him too. As for Silva, Leites will forever be known as the guy that almost made him break a sweat. Bring on Silva vs. GSP! I believe Silva will tear GSP up, at least we would see someone that isn't supposed to lose in a losing effort. What was with Leites turtle routine? Sweet tactics!

Seriously, at was as if Leites didn't realize that if he lost, but at least tried he would be invited to fight again in UFC. He certainly didn't help his cause at all with that performance. If I was Dana White I would be really hesitant to have him fight again.

The weird deal is that everybody, including Dana White is pissed off at Silva. I don't get that. Leites hardly fought and by the looks of his face, he got his ass kicked. He knew that if he went toe to toe with Silva it was lights out. I agree that it is time to get Silva in with the crazy Canadian and see what happens! Now I look forward to Evans vs. Machida That will be a brawl! I still don't understand that one either though. After Rampage beat Jardines they set it up to mean that Rampage would fight Evans next. They even got them in the octagon together and Jackson said he was looking forward to some black on black crime.....either way that is going to be good!

Machida is a crazy good fighter. Ge is very controlled, and very skilled.
I agree that Machida Vs. Evans is gonna be crazy. I really hope that Evans gets destroyed... I mean really destroyed. Picked apart like GSP picked Matt Hughs and BJ Penn apart. I cannot stand Evans' cocky attitude.

Evans v Machida will be a sick fight... Rampage was offered the fight but declined saying he needed some time to recover so Machida got a much deserved shot.

I don't think Rush is the answer to the Spider, he's simply put bored of kicking ass GSP will have to move up that would be too much weight for Silva to cut he needs to move up. I personally think they should put Wand in there with him.

I believe Rampage is recovring from some sort of Mouth or Jaw injurie and had to cancel the fight with Evans.

That's too bad, because I wanted to see Rampage beat the snot out of Evans. Plus Rampage is one of the best interviews in the sport.
