!!URGENT!! If I sent cigars to you recently!!!

I found a beetle on a stick I got from BMP. I pulled the stick out of my humi last night to get a pic before I smoked it, and I actually saw the little bugger crawling on the wrapper. Then as I was getting a quick vid, I turned the cigar and saw the hole. I carefully inspected every other cigar in my humi and found no other issues. To be safe, I moved all of the cigars from the humi to the freezer. I received this bunch of cigars from BMP within the last month, and I am all but certain that the bad stick was a one off from that package.

If you recently got cigars from me, I urge you, at the very least, quarantine and freeze the cigars that I sent. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Do you freeze your cigars right when you buy them and than put them in your humidor? I heard it doesn't garuntee that it will kill the tobbaco beetles?

I freeze when they come in before they go into my humidor. Mortality rate is 100% if done properly.

No... they just thaw out and make your bands loose.

Tanning bed... seriously UV is the only thing that kills them as far as I know. Oh any low RH.

What he said. And when I'm being lazy/ or the freezer is packed they stay in the closed bag and I toss them in a cooler, until a little later. Everything gets frozen, they will die.
