All right guys be nice. This is my first attempt at a review of a cigar that was given to me by the La Flor rep last week at Empire in Raleigh while I was hanging out with SkinsFanLarry (Larry) and Zen Cigar Man (Jamie). He said they are switching the Coranado line to a new wrapper that will give the cigar a little different flavor. I have always been a fan of the original.

Wrapper is a reddish brown and the pre-light draw is kind of sweet. The entire cigar is pretty firm as well. Looks good.

Initial light up was very woodsy with no hint of pepper or spice. Draw was nice and the smoke output was substantial. 3/4" in and the spice is there now. Not overpowering but I can tast it on the back of my tongue and lasts a while. The aroma of the smoke is amazing.

1 1/4" in and the burn is bit off. It corrects easy and you cant leave it sit long or it starts to burn out. First third flavors are woodsy with quite a bit of leather.

Into the second 1/3 the burn has evened out. Flavors are consistant

An hour and 15 in and just got to the band. The strength of the cigar has kind of snuck up on me.

Final 1/3 is much the same. Strong woodsy/leather flavors that linger long.

Last 1 1/2" making a change to more earthy flavors and not burning hot at all.

Smoked it down to about an inch. All in all it was a good cigar. The burn could have been a bit better but I would smoke another for sure.
