  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Vikings QB = 12-15 Passing, 202 YDS, 2 TD's, 0 INT's

Haha, do I detect sour grapes? T-Jack could shine for one game then absolutely suck the next 5. I would still take Favre if nothing else then to keep those Packers fans pissed.

I think Jackson will be a good QB in a couple years, but right now he just doesn't have the confidence, poise, and experience needed to lead an offense. Farve obviously has all those things in spades, and I'm hoping that he will mentor Jackson and help him improve...like Chris Carter did for Randy Moss.

I wonder if a football team has ever considered having TWO first-string QBs...switching them up during the game. If your offense could handle it, I think that would seriously mess up your opposing defense!

I can see why Favre still wants to play but he needs to remember his role in the NFL...QB's are the spokemen for any team. He should have bowed out while he was still held in high regard and took up a job with the Packers as some kind of coach. Still would be able to be in the game but on the field.

Favre will probably end up like Rice and get his contract picked up by GB and then let go.

BTW...I'm so sorry the the good people in GB have to watch their hero put on the purple & gold. That's got to hurt. It would be like watching Manning sport the flying Elvis wearing Navy & Silver

Yeah some guys just have trouble making up there minds! You'll understand that comment when you watch the commercial...
LOL, the basis of the commercial and some of the lines were given on the news locally, so yeah, all of Green Bay understands the comment, we've lived that comment for half a decade.

Here is the biggest question. When it is 3rd and 4 to go, will Favre just take the snap and turn and hand the ball off to the best RB in the game, or will he check out of that play and try to do it himself?

If he can put his ego aside and just manage the game they will do well, but if he thinks he has to carry them, they will fall apart

Brett was always at his best when he followed the direction of the coaches. He does have his moments when his adlib makes him look like a God, but he has the other end of that as well.
