Ron,
Just got a new 28 bottle vinotemp. How many beads do you think are necessary for a cooler this size? What rh would you recommend? What would you put the beads in? Are fans necessary? How would you distribute the beads throughout the cooler. Thanks a lot.

i would say 1 lb of beads should do it, although i have heard of people using 2 lbs. you will find out how much you need once its up and running. not everyones conditions are the same.

shoot for 62-65%.

fans are an optional thing. if you need them depends on how things are going with your vinotemp.

beqads should be evenly spaced. you want a lot of surface area for the beads to work. you dont want one big pile. you want them spread out with a lot of surface area. Viper139 (heartfelt industries) has bags that make things very easy.
