Certainly worth the wait. Circadias started chirping away and just as quickly stopped as the sun reappeared. Magical moment for sure. Glad I was alive to see it. It got dark and then light again real quick. I wonder what ancient man must have thought.

Very cool! We are located in the 98-99% zone so it didn't get as dark as your pictures but it was still a strange darkness for sure. It was also a good bit cooler. I've always been fascinated with astronomy(*dang you autocorrect) so I too am glad I was able to experience it. Here is what we saw.

I'm located in an area that only got about an 80% coverage, but was able to see it through a welders shield at work. I tried to take a picture with my camera and of course it didn't come out correctly but if you look bellow the sun in the picture you can see the reflection the camera made and captured in the image (flipped 180 degrees though). Thought that was kind of cool.
