Walk-in humidor

Well, in about a year I will hopefully be able to get started on building my shop! I am going to build a walk-in humi and was needing to get some ideas on the best things to have in one. I am not talking about a small one, but a kick ass one. I am going to build a shop that will pwn all other shops! I will have one part with an auto lift to work on my Porsche and one side that is just for bullshitting. I want to build a walk-in humi, have a bar, pool table, a few standing video games and a table for poker. I am going to start drawing up the plans, so I can get as much research done as possible.

After this project is completed, we will have to have a BOTL weekend at the house!!!!!!

Keyed deadbolt locks. And make sure your wife doesn't have a key.

You're gonna need a crapper.

Soundproofing. For when you have strippers over.

A covered patio. To enjoy the sunny days outside.

As for the walk-in, I'd think David would have some great ideas on how/what/why to do certain things.

I can just put a bed in there for guests, but I may wake up and have all of my smokes gone!

I have a list for when I build my house in austin. you must have wood paneling on the walls and a smoke filter. wood floors and leather chairs. easier to "clean" the smoke off those surfaces.

you can have an automated humidifaction system that is piped into a deionizer so no more runs to the store for distilled water. you have to have ceiling fans inside the humidor to move the air around.

model your smoking lounge like cool river.

oh and one very important detail, you gotta have a secret escape door so you can bolt when The Man kicks your door down.

Of course, that's the way it is in Texas too.

How about a button that burns up that room? I could just hit the button and be off on lack of evidence. I am calling Scott anyway, so he will sue the shit out of them for lack of evidence and invading my privacy.

Concrete. That way you can just hose them down. And since you plan on putting your car in there, you can just use a blower to get all the refuse out. Don't know if they make one big enough to move Scott though.:laugh:

Jorge, are you familair with that house in the Village (I think it's kitty corner to BW-3) with the garage door like windows on the 2nd floor? they have concret floors as well up there. That house is bad ass.

yeah, I think that won some design award like 5-6 years ago, if it is the one you are refering to. the apartments in the rice loft have stained concrete floors and they are pretty tight.
