Did something like that to a buddy a few years ago... had a program that when you clicked on start it started a program athat made it look like your hd was getting reformatted... freaked him out.. thought he was gonna kick my ass!

If you want to have even more fun, create a folder on the desktop and label it something like "Horse Porn", then take a screen shot. Erase the folder, and then set the screen shot as wall paper.
They will panic trying to click on the icon in order to delete it.
Fun fun fun. Another good trick is to get a picture of a "Blue Screen of Death" or a "Kernel Panic" and set that up as the screen saver.

All of these are good, but for an easy one for those of us less techy guys. Take a piece of scotch tape and put it over the red light on the bottom of someone's mouse. This can also be done in seconds.
There is always the "white ninja" where you send an email to everyone regarding thier love for crossdressing or animal porn or what ever. I got had yesterday when someone sent an email to the boss with a subject line saying "I love you"
