I got my first two Belkin WeMo light switches. One for the kitchen and one for the garage. It was fine enough when it was just going to be convenient to turn off the kitchen or garage light when the wife (or even myself) doesn't but within a few minutes of installing it I found some other feature called IFTTT (if this then that).
So now I have a command that calls my cell if I misplace it (only useful if the ringer is turned up).
Ill be adding a command for texting a command to turn on/off remotely as well as programing timers for when we are gone.
Such a fun little product, simple platform and opportunity for growth. I hope Belkin does F this up.
