Well, here goes: Anyone know a good bit about Kitchen Appliances?

I need to replace an under-cabinet vent/hood over my stove. Suggestions?

- needs to be powerful (I cook and burn LOTS of stuff)
- w/ or w/o microwave in-one


Stainless - preferably.


If you know about such things and can make a recommendation, I'd love to hear from you.

i have a braun QP436SS and am very happy with it. It does require a large diameter vent but on full tilt its moving a lot of air. Its also very quiet.
