The thrift store I take stuff to has a nice selection of heavy glass ashtrays. I scored a nasty, tarnished, ash-laden, brass ashtray awhile back. A heavy dose of elbow grease, steel wool, Barkeepers Soap, and finally some brass polish and I put it into service. I've since grabbed a Smiley faced tray and Mrs. Swat fixed me up with a nice Cohiba for our anniversary.
