I am a newbie and have seen people talking about "bumping" good posts. What does this mean and where can I find bumped posts?

Took me about six months here to figure it out.
Lol. Of course it did!

@Leisure, it's when someone posts to a thread with the sole purpose of making it the most recently active thread to generate more viewing of that thread, often just posting the word "bump" to do so.

To Bump:
A dance popular in the 70s where middle class white college students would bend their knees and swing their rear-ends into their dance partner's rear end in a half hearted attempt to "keep time" with disco music. Many anthropologist credit "the bump" as being the precursor of "twerking"

It's when a racehorse comes out of there path and accidentally " bumps another horse" then get's taken down from whatever place the horse came in:banghead:

Did you ever wonder why your cat bumps heads with you? So you're saying this isn't what we're talking about.....always a step in the wrong direction.
