Just wondering what ELs people think are smoking well these days.

I heard that the RyJ Robustos were on so I had one this weekend. Mine, unfortuantely, wasn't as good as I had expected.

Just wondering what other ELs BOTLs think are smoking particularly well these days.

The RyJ and Monte Prominente EL's are tremendous; PSD#3 and Party Pyramides as well. I find the recent vintages need more time.

Monte robusto EL's are great, mine are from late '03

Cohiba DC EL's are also tasty.

R&J robusto a bit of a disappointment at this stage ('01)

I would have said the Hoyo Parts but I just had my first in a few months last night and it was back to dull and boring. Shame too because towards the latter part of last year they were smoking quite lovely.

01'.
The 00's I've smoked have been better then these though. But I've made the mistake of smoking too many of them early and therefore only leaving myself a very small amount for long term aging. Stupid!
In summation for last nights smoking experience; 1st 3rd = MILD tangy sweet woodiness, 2nd 3rd = Hoyo Goodness!, 3rd 3rd = practically no flavor with some deep caramel hints.

Also the RyJ Exi #2, I have some that have actual oil spots on them...strange but true...the bands look like somebody took a yellow crap on them :)

Those Hoyo pyramids were just outstanding about a year ago. Then they flattened out a bit. Can't wait for them to pick up again. Chocolate goodness.

Good to hear. I have some 01 Cohibamids that I haven't smoked in 2 years given their prior flatlining when I sparked them. Glad these are picking up!
