What exactly did I find in my firend's beer cellar?

Was at a friends house over the weekend and he gave me chance to browse around his beer cellar. In the very back was this....

He said he bought it back in 2004-2005 at a random bottle shop. I googled it and it looks to be an older version of the Utopias? Anyone ever had one?

Ive tried one. The triple bock was an evolution of the high alcohol arms race. I think that lead to the utopias ultimately, as you already mentioned. I remember it tasting a bit like soy sauce, good but not super beer like.

I had one of those years ago, it was more like port than beer.

I remember it tasting like soy sauce. I think I still have a bottle somewhere. You guys should crack open that bottle and let us know how it tastes!
