The number of .45s in my safe doubled yesterday. Hadn't bought any pistols since 2012 so I figured this was overdue.

Excuse the crappy cellphone pix. This HK45 is tremendously sexy in person. Soon it'll be off to Bruce Gray for action cleanup, LEM trigger and Heinie Straight Eights. The FNX-T is something I have always wanted, and I'm happy to see it's an quality improvement over the older FNP. The FNX is getting a Trijicon RMR and a can, that's it.

If I had to give up on the 1911 platform, that HK45 would be at the top of the list. Gotta love a gun designed with Vickers.
