lol, well according to the article at least when it comes to hard liquor they're pretty legit. I'd be interested to try it out, but in NC you cant get alcohol in grocery stores and they sure as hell dont carry aldi brand at the ABC store...

Aldi wine wins all kinds of awards too, so this isn't quite as shocking. Problem is that all these great bottles from Aldi are not available in the states.

Yea, so does ours but these award winning ones are from the UK. There was a big stink (to wine drinkers at least) a year or two ago, when an article went around. All these wino housewives were going crazy because they couldn't get their hands on this award winning cheap stuff, especially since Five Buck Chuck at Trader Joes isn't five bucks anymore lol.
