What sites do you guys recommend? I have been perusing Wal-Mart, MSN Music, Napster; the usual suspects. I would prefer not to add any software to my PC, if possible. I am using WMP 11.0, which has a download feature. I do not use any Apple products.

I just want to be able to buy a track here and there from my favorite artists from the 60's through the present and burn my own dics's when enough tracks are collected. Will the WMA format cause me any problems? Do Mp3 players read it natively? What are the pitfalls of DRM and how will that affect "copies"? Thanks, guys.

I don't know if they have much of what you want but check out eMusic, they are one of the oldest places and you get mp3s, and I don't think you need any software.

EDIT: Maybe its not what you are looking for. They have a download manager, but its pretty small but you do get normal MP3s after it downloads. They are also mostly independent music.
