So I did a very nice haul in Kentucky yesterday, although I was looking for a Weller full proof and a stagg jr at a fair price and the weller fp sp I found was $400 and the stagg jr sp I found was $699 so both hard passes. Many stores said come back today as they would get shipments. What do you think of the following bottles I’ve been offered. Do you think any of these are worth buying.
Store one
Larceny BP c922 for $99. I had bought a Larceny BP A123 this trip but thoughts?
4 roses BP single recipe for $199

Store 2
Pappy van winkle 10 year $750
Lux row BP for $200-225

The Larceny at Total wine is $60. The 4 roses when you can fine it is about $90. I just paid $86 for the Blantons and I think I was over charged, at least my BIL wanted it for that price

I think you are paying a premium for them but if you have the greenery and not the time it doesn't matter.

Chayse, @Boudie had some good insight. Here are a couple of my thoughts.

The Larceny you bought (A123) is better than the C922 for my palate.

Is it the Lux Row 12 Year? If it is, I would pay $200 for a bottle. The one I finished a while back was stellar.

You can find Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Year for sale at $750 all day every day. I'd only buy it if I found it significantly under secondary prices.
