  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

While not having cut with either a palio or xikar cutter I decided to splurge on one. My spending money for comes from the coins I deposit in the coin star so I have some amazon credit.

The ones I'm looking at are as follows:

XI2 Cutter, Noir Black

XI3 Cutter, Redwood/Stainless

Black Xi Cigar Cutter

Titanium Xi Cigar Cutter

Do you carry it around with you everywhere. I looked at one and almost pulled the trigger but backed off on that at my local B&M. I have a Xikar punch I carry on my keys.

I have a number of these cutters and I would shy away from any part of the Xi2 line. My favorites are my Xi3 STKs. Fantastic cut and weight, a lot heftier than my other Xikars.

I agree I have an MTX & I love it. The tools in the handle are great to have as well. The little poker is perfect if you have a plug it the end of your cigar. Xikar also says to use it to bleed your lighters with it. before filling. It's extremely sharp & a great deal for the price!

I have this one, good cutter. Don't get the Xikar with the nylon body. It's action isn't as smooth as the metal bodies.
