Whiskey tasting with Tom Turner (Johnnie Walker) @ SWAM

So yesterday a buddy of mine and I decided to make up an excuse to ditch work early and head over to SWAM in Aeia (Our resident booze and stogie hub on island). They had a special guest there teaching the basics in Whiskey, cognac, bourbon etc. being a heavy beer drinker i thought you can never know too much about anything. Well we went and needless to say it was like stepping foot into an amazing new world of drinking! I tried so many $expensive$ drinks and learned a ton. I reccomend if your in hawaii to stop by SWAM they always have events that are totally off the chain!

My favorite of the night:
Lagavulin Distiller Edition 1994- it tasted like smoky bacon with an amazing heat! ive been scouring the island for a bottle but its all been scooped up:closedmo

Tom Turner came to my event right after that and we had a great time with a nice selection of scotches and whiskeys. I swung by swam afterwards and got to try the Lagavulin Distiller Edition 1994 and agree that it was onolicious!
