  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I just won a xikar xi2 on the devilsite for 13 bucks. Wondering who all uses them and if I made a mistake buying this one. I have wanted a new cutter for a while now and have been stuck between the Palio and xikar, but couldn't pass on this deal.

I own:
Xikar Xi3
Xikar MTX
Xikar XV
Wolf V-Cut
Palió
Montecristo Signature Cutter
Drew Estate Bulletproof

and probably 10 other cutters.

I use the MTX and the XV a lot. If you have gigantic hands than the Xi might be better than the Palió, but if I had to chose I'd go with the Palió as I never have problems with, occasionally do with the Xikar.

You made a BIG mistake. HUGE! For $267 more dollars you could've gotten the one with mammoth tusk handles. Sorry to be the one to tell you...

ha ha, j/k. nice pickup at a good cost.

Have two, an Xi1 & Xi3. Love them both, use the 3 more, but that's really just cause it's prettier. Don't use anything else too often really, they're my primary weapon, and I always have one on me.

I use Xikar and highly recommend them. The lifetime fix or replace warranty for any reason is worth it just by itself. You made no mistake, trust me.

I use the xi3 and love it.
Great price on that one.
Definitely a good pickup.
Go to their sit and register it and they will send you a leather pouch to carry it in for free!

Have an Xi2. Unfortunately, it got wet and looks like it's rusting up a little. It constantly sticks. Was good though and is still works when I can get it open.

I own about 5 cutters, two punches, a multi tool and a table top. All of them, except the table top, are XIKAR. If XIKAR made a tabletop I'd buy it in a heart beat. Xikar rocks as far as I'm concerned.

Centex, send it XIKAR and they'll fix it or replace, for free more than likely. Or take it too a B&M who sells XIKAR and they may replace it for free also.

Recently I found out that the XIKAR warranty can be honored at any B&M that's a XIKAR dealer. You can literally walk into a B&M dealer and tell them it's dull or broke and they'll swap it for one they have on hand. So you don't have to ship them.

I know they have an awesome warranty. Just didn't know if it covered idiot(me) error. :) I'll talk to my local shop.

Xikar's warranty is awesome. I love being able to just walk into my B&M and say, "It's not working." or something to that tune and be handed a new lighter or cutter on the spot.

I am new to cigars and got a Xikar Xi1 from CBID for a great price!

Lifetime warranty and it cuts awesome.

Plus if you register your cutter they send you a free leather case for it in the mail.... takes about a month or more to get but is very nice.

Can't go wrong with a Xikar cutter and a lifetime warranty!!!
