  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Place it flat on the table open, insert cigar and hold it vertical against the table, snap it closed w/ the other hand. Perfect cut. Have to do it by eye w/ shaped ends obviously.

I know they have an awesome warranty. Just didn't know if it covered idiot(me) error. :) I'll talk to my local shop.
Palio replaced a cutter some guy's dog chewed up if I remember correctly and there are always stories of Xikar replacing stuff people dropped and broke I think that about covers idiot error.

Palio and Xikar both have exemplary warranties and customer service. I have and use cutters from both, plus a bunch of Xikar lighters. You can use either brand's products with complete confidence and just choose whichever you prefer.

Love my xi3. Primary cutter for probably four years now. Got girlfriend an xi2 few months ago and I don't like it nearly as much. Feels cheap - like could fall apart some day. Also feels like there's a little play in it - hasn't affected a cut yet, but just doesn't have nearly the nice 'hand-feel' that the xi3 does.

I have a titanium Xi. I carry it every day. It's my fifth one. Thank goodness for the lifetime warranty
