Wineador Lighting Question

The pissy little light in my fridge is pathetic. I thought about installing some LED lights in the rear corners running top to bottom, but the cost is kind of excessive (at least here in Aussie).
Anyone got ideas about lighting it up and connecting the new lights to the switch already installed?

Why do you need a light in the humidor anyway? I have my light switched off but then again I don't have the cooler sitting in the corner of a dark cave....

That would be my suggestion also, or a flashlight!

Just use some christmas lights and line the door/interior of the bad boy.

I have noticed in one of my friends humidors that his new lights eventually built up heat. So what ever you choose, keep an eye on your temp. over a period of time while they are on.

My opinion: Lights are just another variable in the equation. Keep it simple and if you want to see your smokes, open the humi.

I would go with some kind of LED, as they would create the least amount of heat.

I've used 12v led strips. They are flexible self advise ciruit board type strips that have 4 LEDs per section. I buy them off a roll in my local Maplin store. Have a look at http://mobile.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?moduleno=218015
