I'm not sure how many people have seen this video but wow, people have been give terrible advice about how important it is to not use anything but flavorless torch lighters to toast a cigar.

Who knew that your kitchen stove was an alternative way of lighting your cigar. I have a tiki torch rotting in my closet when i could be using it to light up a premium hand made. The guy smokes 12 or more cigars in a day and they look like swisher sweets to me. So if you want to live a long life don't worry about smoking a dozen or more HTL machine made cigars.

Man, wouldn't it be great to smoke a cigar with him and listen to his stories? Bet he's got some good ones.

There were some articles shared on here that were written about him when he turned 109. 12 cigars, and some whiskey everyday. Awesome. Keep doing it the healthy way, Mr. Overton!

Seems like he's still alive and kickin' per Wikipedia. I thought I saw something on social media a while back he wasn't doing so hot and was on 24hr home care and the family was trying to raise funds for him.....
