Never had a cuban, some our decently priced, or at least in my range of $15 bucks, but are they even worth it? When I look at the prices and see how high they can go, are the $15 dollar cuban sticks like smoking a phillies blunt in the cuban world?
corner store dollar cigarWhat's a Phillies blunt
This.Look elsewhere. Pricing should be in the $3-6 range for the little guys (Rafael Gonzales Perlas, Partagas Shorts, Bolivar CJs) and $6-10 for good regular production CG/robo/toros (Punch Punch, Partagas Serie d4, Montecristo 2).
should that be the price for singles or box pricing?Look elsewhere. Pricing should be in the $3-6 range for the little guys (Rafael Gonzales Perlas, Partagas Shorts, Bolivar CJs) and $6-10 for good regular production CG/robo/toros (Punch Punch, Partagas Serie d4, Montecristo 2).
Think they were Cohiba's ... You were right though to look around. Thinking of starting the MC #2 .. Love the Dominican version..Box pricing. And it's not a hard and fast rule. A couple bucks higher is not unusual. But $15 for a single is high unless it's an RE or EL.
@BassMaster what singles are you seeing for $15
Some are good fresh, some suck and need rest. The quality changes often so nobody will know. Only way to find out is to jump in and order some.Think they were Cohiba's ... You were right though to look around. Thinking of starting the MC #2 .. Love the Dominican version..
How freshly rolled are these cigars? I mean, do they need to be rested beyond the standard few weeks?
Is there a way to tell by just squeezing them and not lighting 1 up? I try to do that now with non cubans, sometimes it works out sometimes I say I shoulda waited a bit longer. Some are good fresh, some suck and need rest. The quality changes often so nobody will know. Ah. Cohiba singles around $15 makes sense, that's not much more than box price for a Robusto.Think they were Cohiba's ... You were right though to look around. Thinking of starting the MC #2 .. Love the Dominican version..
