It's New York. Hello? It ceased being a free state long ago.

In my humble opinion you can pretty much judge the freedom of a state (and a country) by its gun laws. The more restrictive the gun laws, the less freedom in general. NY has ridiculously restrictive gun laws (yet of course still has high crime) and is otherwise a bastion of intrusive paternalistic government and socialistic programs. Therefore I am not surprised in the least by this latest measure, nor by the "how to shoot up" posters. Law abiding people are regulated more and more, while law breakers are excused and coddled.

Also consider--the people of that state voluntarily elected Hillary Clinton.
