  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Looking for a couple opinion/use reports on these things. I'm looking to buy them form my groomsmen as gifts for my wedding in November. Nothing like a good lighter with a lifetime warranty right? Just wanted to see if anyone here has had one for a while and if there has been any problems with it.

Those are cool lighters and I like the side trigger. I think they would make excellent gifts and with the warranty, how can you go wrong? I would get them from a shop so you can go back and if it's not too old, they'll usually just exchange it if something goes wrong. As oppose to having to mail it in. Congrats on the Wedding.

When I looked at the title I was gonna say anything but a Dupont's a waste... but if its a groomsmen gift its perfect. Looks good, should work well and has a lifetime warranty and I think most people are happy with their Xikars. Good luck with your wedding, mine's coming up in October its madness!

Got an Axia as Warranty replacement for a discontinued model. Use it every day without fail. Nice design and solid. Recommended!

Okay I have people saying yes the Axia is a good flame maker and no one saying it's crap. I think Axia it is....

On another note though, what is that combo lighter in the video? Is it a Replicant or is that who did the group buy?

That's who did the group buy. The lighter is no where on the net...new company that Replicant argent has access to. Heavy well made lighter.

I had the Xikar executive and was not happy with the size of the fuel tank, butthe side trigger was great. I lost it a while back so I went back to the $3 gas station torch and have good for about 6 months with it.

The Axia is a GREAT lighter. I have used both Xikar and non-Xikar fuel and it just works. I have had mine since IPCPR. I recommend it.
