  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Went to my local B&M with the wife yesterday to get ONE cigar. Left with over 100.00 bucks worth of stuff due to my wife. I was looking at the Xikar cutter and saying how much I would love to have that. I figured that was the end of it and walked into the humidor to get the cigar I came after and she stayed behind (as she mostly does). I came out with the cigar and she said "surely you didn't want me to come all this way for ONE cigar, right? Go get what you want"...so I did...I went in the humi and got a fiver and came back to the counter and she had the Xikar cutter laying there, paid for...She bought some cigar boxes (empty) for her to create something with as well.

I also overheard her talking to the manager of the store saying that Im going to need a cabinet humi soon...

My wife loves me!

Nice pick up, I love my Xikar cutter. FYI, don't stick your finger in the hole of the cutter and spin it around on your finger without thinking. Just sayin'...

That's hallarious! I've done the same thing. More than once. And it looks like truckingtiger has already figured this out.

LOL, glad to see I'm not the only one! I didn't get a bad cut, but it put a nice ring around my index finger. I wasn't even thinking about it - smoking and chatting with a few friends on video chat and it just kind of happened. D'oh! :lookaroun

Thats pretty awesome. My girl got me a Cuban Crafters cutter last year with my initials engraved on the back. Its no Xikar, but still it was a great gift.
