I had to do telemarketing for a while. . . I felt really bad about it and I think that must've come off on the phone cuz most people were really nice when they said "thanks, but no thanks". . . it takes a lot of self-esteem and resolve to get told "no" that many times a day.

It's for a local computer repair shop. The pay is shitty for the first 90 days but then it doubles to nice money. Definitely not a telemarketer any more though. Got canned for not making any sales in the past three weeks.
