First real concert was The Strokes's first visit here to Mexico City. Incredibly good, I was on 7th grade.

too cool! that was my first concert w/o the parents! Piece of Mind tour in Fresno, CA! Saxon opened for them! now THAT was a concert!!

i went to quite a few with my folks in my youth, incuding Glen Campbell, Sammy Davis Jr., Roy Clark, the Gaither Trio, oak ridge boys, and a few more goody-two-shoe concerts!

J. Geils band at the Paladium in NYC. It was 1979 and I was in the 8th grade. A friend got me into Geils, and I went with my sisters boyfriend (she was our of town travelling).

The crazier thing is what were my parents thinking! My daughter is in the 7th grade, and while I think we give her a lot of freedom, I can't even imagine letting her go into the city next year.

It was either Black Sabbath or Foghat back around '77 I believe. I don't exactly remember which one was first. Life was kind of a haze back then!

You know they're called Chicago now right? Must have been their first tour before they had to change their name.

I think my first concert was Sha-Na Na before I was 3. First concert I remember was Smashing Pumpkins or maybe Blood Sweat and Tears- can't remember which one was first.

Previous to that was the Philadelphia orchestra- but I don't think you meant that kind of concert.

I think my first one was Fear Factory with three other bands can't remember who though at 17 or 18 so it was 2001 or 2002. The place was so small and the bass so high it was knocking shit off the shelves in the bar and pics off the walls. I was right in front of the speaker stacks and it was like trying to breath with your head out a car window at 65mph.
