Zino Platinum Crown Series

I know these are pricey, but I smoked a Barrell over the weekend and it was in my top 2 or 3 for non Cuban cigars! WOW, what a great smoke. I highly recommend this cigar for everyone and at least give a try once and I promise you will want another. I was buzzing after smoking it, but I had a Punch Punch about 5 minutes before, so maybe it was combo of the two that made me feel that way.

Anyone else tried one of the Crown Series?

I've tried them. way stronger than expected. not sure if they are worth the scratch. something like $45 a cigar. yikes.

Bought this one in Austin at Pipe World for $32 I think. I have had it for about 5 months, so I thought it was time to burn it up on the cruise.

Was it worth $32? Does it compare to an Opus or a Padron 64/26?

these are the ones that come in the metal 3-pack case with the boxes of platinum matches? very nice presentation. I get the silver banded zino lines confused. the really expensive ones are the scepter series, and the crowns are the less expensive ones that come in those cans, right?

the canned one are super mild. I was hesistant to smoke the super expensive ones, but like john, I found them to be stronger than expected. next time I'd smoke one would be in someone gave me one. if I'm going to spend that much money on a cigar I'd rather get an aged/rare cuban or a figured/rare opus.

Scepter are the cheaper ones and Crowns are the pricey ones. I just bought a single and found the receipt on it. It was $26 for the Barrel.

It was worth every dime! I cannot brag on this cigar enough. I rank it above the Opus and I will be able to post a full review when I smoke one standing alone. I smoked this one right after the Punch Punch, so I hate to give a review on the flavors, because I could have been off. Hell, I may smoke another and it be awful. The Casa Fuente and Zino Plat. are at the top of my domestic list, both are around the same price, but one is a lot easier to buy unless you live in Vegas!
