Frog-legged Filler Leaves-- Finish De-veining Before Bunching?

I was just wondering about this. I always remove the rest of the vein all the way to the tip. Good idea? If so, why do they remove just half of the vein when processing filler leaf? If the roller is going to finish de-veining, may as well just leave it in there, right? Am I missing something, or just overthinking?

Remove it if you don't want sticks in your sticks.
Leave it if you want more nic in your stick.

Me, I always remove it.

I have read stick leavers claim they want "structure" in the3irm stick. Bunk. Sticks without twigs do have structure. Even toilet paper rolls have a structure.
