My previous truck was a 2006 f150 xlt with the 5.4l v8. I bought it used and had some issues in the past year so in January I traded it in for a 2014 Silverado LT. I wanted the v8, but I got $12,000 off msrp for the 4.3 v6. These new six's are pretty powerful and not that far off from my old 5.4l which was a gas hog. I'm getting 5-6 more mpg's and it's rated for 285 hp and 305 lb-ft of torque. More than enough to tow my 3000 lb camper. I just installed the westin nerf bars this afternoon.
