Any World of Warcraft players here?

Just curious to see if there were any World of Warcraft players here...

I've been playing off and on for almost 7 years. Just recently stated playing a lot more because of work buddies.

Played since day one but taking a break from it. Always wanted them to have Monks but not sure I'm happy with the new race they have coming with the new expansion.

Ditto on that. I thought it was a joke when I first read about it, lol.

I might do SW:TOR when it comes out, but I doubt I'll quit WoW, not entirely.

I've played since Vanilla and still do. While a lot of things have become easier in the game, the heroic raids are still extremely tough. Heroic Rag has broken so many guilds it isn't even funny. He is BRUTAL. I will say I am looking forward to the expansion even though it is Pandaren.

How so? Leveling new characters is definitely faster, but I like that. Heroics are much harder than in WotLK (well, somewhat harder I guess, but much longer for sure). And I haven't even been able to do much raiding because guilds are so anal about committing to 2-3 raids a week, etc., and that's because the raids (Firelands in particular) are so hard they're having a tough time getting everyone through.

For someone who cannot raid (work 10 hours a day and then I have my cigar distribution job afterwards) the game is way too simple. I remember when dungeons had some challenge to them, now its just running through the motions. I thought about going back to EQ but I have not played that since WoW started and now its way too damn complicated for me to start back up.

Kind of surprised to see quite a few responses where you guys both raid and have been around since Vanilla. Pretty cool in my opinion.

So when are we starting a BOTL guild and raid? :nodlaugh:

I play about three nights a week. Been playing for a couple years now. I'm down for a botl guild or we can all start new toons on the same server and work it together.

Yeah I play for atleast an hour everynight. I have all my horde on Lothar and my ally on Alleria.

Exactly the same here. I've been tempted to come back, but my lack of computing power presently prevents that.

I raid 2 nights a week and goof around usually 2-3 other nights a week. I play horde side on Frostwolf. I would be willing to roll a new toon on a server if you guys all want to get together.

No, I havent played in a few years. The woman and I both quit about the same time. I do miss the friends i have made there. I raided hardcore from vanilla through wrath. had to stop there man. just took too much time to stay at the top only to have them make all that work obsolete with the next patch(which started coming way too quickly for my liking.)

Some days i would love to dust off the old character, but i think that is just asking for me to go all in again.
