I have no idea how many boxes of T52s I've smoked but I haven't had this happen to even a single one.

I can't even see this happening because of shipping. Was this box already open when you got it? I think the B&M should replace.

Sorry you got bad cigars man, that sucks.

If you haven't contacted the vendor yet, no need to share the name here right now. Contact the vendor and see if they will make things right. Give them a chance to fix it before their name gets smeared...

Bummer, if your vendor won't fix it, then out them...but certainly this isn't the fault of the manufacturer.

I wanted you to out them right away, but I guess it makes sense to give them a chance to make it right. If they don't please let us know so I wont have the same issue.

I just got off the phone with the vendor...

They said it was either the cold that dried them out or that it was just a bad box.

They're sending me a shipping label so I can ship them back for their inspection...guy said chances are they will refund my money.

I also sent him a pic of them but didn't get a reply.

They were shipped from NY, arrived today along with the Undercrown Gorditos that came from PA...the Undercrowns were in perfect shape.

The box of T52s are drier than my grandparents Christmas tree 3 months after Christmas :hanghead:

Edit to add: The box was sealed and wrapped in plastic...

That's good they are sending you a shipping label to return. But yeah, those cigars are in rough shape. Not so sure extreme temp changes could damage them that much but it can happen. Does make you wonder about storage conditions...

I just got physically sick after seeing wrecked LP. No one should have to witness that. In all seriousness though, they is really rough man.

that makes me sad! and glad to hear the vendor is open to fixing things. there is no call for NOT wrapping to ensure safe delivery, much less not humidifying the backstock.

As all have said glad they are replacing, and props for not outing them right away. Mistakes happen to all and it is the response to those mistakes that are a true measure of the person/vendor.

yeah that's weak. Emerson's packed a 5 pack or Opus in more popcorn than it would have taken to make that box safe.

To me this is an issue that is between your vendor and you. I don't see how this has anything to do with the type of box that was sent and seems like a weird title to post and bring attention to. Perhaps it has something to do with JD going above and beyond to help his customers out. But I can't see anything that is anything more than poor packing or poor storage from your vendor.

And in that case, it seems odd that the complaint would be posted publicly and not dealt privately between you and the vendor. Now after dealing with the vendor and if you did not get the issue resolved, I would understand a post with the vendor's name if you have a valid complaint and didn't want other brothers to experience the same poor customer service.

Maybe it is just me, but I don't see the reason for this thread.
