Yup. Estate pipes. They are pretty clean, but my plan is to refinish them and make 'em a little nicer...I'm picky like that.

I have a small collection of pipes that was handed down to me by my uncle. They are from the 60's 70's...Had them cleaned up by The Tinderbox in Santa Monica years ago when I got into cigars, but never really attempted to jump into pipe smoking. One pipe is a Ben Wade (?), which I think is a reputable and/or sought after make.
Need to get my feet wet, as the idea of pipe smoking seems enjoyable.

a wade is a very nice pipe... I think they normally go in the $75-$100 range new... Would love to have an old vintage one from back in the 60's.. thats a very cool family heirloom indeed..

Maybe I'll post some pics and see if you guys can identify them...Would be very cool to know what I have!

I like the whole pipe idea...Just seems like an overwhelming amount of info to get going, but that can sometimes be the fun part
