Ha ha ...to be honest, I noticed it. Posted it. Then immediately searched the contest thread thinking that there might be a good reason for the picture. I worked for a number of years in a quality control lab, so I have a knack for detail.

On to a RYJ Mille Fleur from 2010. Tight Draw but opened up after a inch or so with plenty of smoke output. Very nice flavor for a Marca I do not visit often.

I know there have been a lot of consistency and construction issues in recent years, but I do think RyJ is now underrated. I definitely endorse folks mixing them in now and again--I have had a lot of good experiences with them.

For those interested, Fairly good burn, very lil smoke, some taste of pepper n spice, burned HOT last 1/4 of cigar... IMHO will let these rest for a month or so.....enjoy

Hey guys, I would love to see more brothers leaving a little comment about the smoke in this thread. Even if it's just "liked it", "didn't like it" or "good/bad burn" anything to get a little opinion on that cigar. Just a suggestion and understand if some do not get a chance to, it's just that I like looking through this thread every now and again mainly for the feedback on what's being smoked. Pretty sure I haven't every post but I will try from now on. Thanks! (not sure if this should be posted in here or somewhere else)

nope, belongs here, and a good reminder, too! it's cool to brag when you are burning something superlative(COUGHartCOUGH), but this is a great place to start a discussion, seeing someone burning something you have had your eye on, or even something you forgot about. hell, even if you posted "not my thing, shame i bought a box", you might score an equitable trade out of it! o)

FWIW burning MY first EH cigar now:

wee little perfecto. having to pace myself strictly as it tapers down to a 42 rather quickly, but digging the thick oily texture, nice contrast of spice and smooth. and i cannot do justice to just how SEXY this cigar looks.
