An afternoon at Ajay Patel's LCdH in Teddingon, UK

Last week I was in London for business and had a day between my meetings and flight home to do some sightseeing. I planned on checking out the basement at Harrod's, the Davidoff and Dunhill shops, as well as JJ Fox. I never made it to ANY of them! I spent all afternoon at Ajay Patel's LCdH and had an absolute blast!

In the humi, Ajay helped me pick out some Bolivars and a La Escepcion since I was looking for a violent fix of Vitamin N. The week leading up to the trip was rough. Delta lost my bags for 4 days so here's how I look in borrowed clothes and having not shaved all week

Kid in a candy store...

I smoked these in the lounge downstairs. Ajay came down and hung out with me for about 90min off and on, BSing with me about cubans, whiskey, pipes, etc. I showed him the pix from the '13 BOTL Cigar Safari and he was blown away by the level of access we were given to the factory and the cigar-making process start to finish. He said they don't let you get close to any of that in Cuba.

The lounge itself...that walk-in in the far corner is ALL Ajay's private collection!

He's so proud of these! They are the most fragrant cigar I've ever seen. Explosive milk chocolate and floral notes assault the senses!
