Help identifying this pipe

Need help identifying this one, I picked it up at a B&M for $45. Interested to know what other stem options I have besides long churchwarden-style. The side has an inscription that says "LULA" if that gives any hints.

Any guesses at all would be welcomed

I believe it may be a Savinelli. I am not sure if they make other stems or not.

Sav's will have their mark stamped on the shank. Looks like a nice basket pipe.

Interesting. Sometimes I wonder if estate pipes have there owners name inscribed into them when they are made by a personal pipe maker. I think Bosewells does this but
I'm also sure they put there names on the pipe too.

that was my first thought - a nice basket pipe - since the gentleman who sold it to me didn't mention a manufacturer

I also found this site in a google search but I wasn't able to decipher what the website was about. No other markings on the pipe/stem. plain black vulcanite stem

if it was an estate I would have assumed it'd have a better backstory than just sitting on the wall as a $45 unnamed pipe. perhaps not, though. I think I have a mystery on my hands and I'll have to stick to my cob for now for a shorter stem alternative
