I met Sam at IPCPR this year, he's a great guy, totally genuine. He also has a lot of respect and great things to say about the media and people that do cigar reviews. We actually just reviewed his White 552 on Blindmanspuff, I personally loved it, but the other reviewers were not so hot about it.
They had a Leccia Tobacco event at my local B&M this past Thursday and I picked up a few of both the White and Black blends. I have smoked 2 White's (including one tonight) but haven't got around to the Black blend yet.
I've known Sam for a couple of years. First met at Cigars International in PA. He's a great guy. Was sorry that he wasn't working for Oliva anymore, but am glad he rebounded.
