Don't know how much of a thread this'll be but the point is the only Pre req is there's a cigar in the pic. I have dslr's and such but usually I'm just havin fun with the iPhone. Problem with INSTAGRAM the crop you have to put on it just to post the pic changes the whole composition. But I didn't smoke it so it can't go into today's smoke lol. So it's just random cigar porn.

Awesome shot and setup! I know what you mean. You might want to check out Instafit or just do screen shots and you are able to upload full pic.

My Favorite pic that I took, hope it meets pre-reqs!
Absolutely .I meant moreso that I know we have a couple photography threads that are a little more serious and I absolutely respect photography as an art so I don't post my iPhone pics there (and those pics have been incredible) but I still like takin and showin pics. So this is for just random cigar porn whether you know what a fish eye, hood, or DOF is or not.

Life in Smoke,

I hate to be this guy, but man that looks a lot like mold. Considering it left a residue on the cedar.

I've just seen too much cedar wrapped sticks with mold, to not question it.

Hopefully your aware of that, and I'm just making noise here.

Regards,
-Chrisso

PS. Not trying to get off topic Mista, just felt the need to say it.

here is a second pic that shows it is a powdery white that rubs off and not a strainy white that does not rub away !
Ok I do not have the stick in my hand and purely going by the photo from my cellphone but dude that is as moldy as it gets. Hate to say it but plume does not look like that one bit.

Sorry 40 this thread got off topic, but bro, that is definitely mold. People are not saying that to be dicks, it's the truth and people need to know. That is 100% mold, no doubt. Next time you see that, wipe it completely off and make sure you don't see it in the foot of the cigar and smoke it like a champ. But if you bought that in a B&M, you should make sure you are not buying moldy cigars in the future and be careful about the cigars you are buying from them.

Yes, fully agree with others that it is mold. Plume will not be in big mass spots like that....mold will wipe away. Cigars that have the cedar wrapped around them can get mold spots easily....like Anejos, Hemingways, etc. You need to keep an eye on em.

Back to cigar porn!
