Why is it so many injuries happen in the pre-season?

Gotta get the players tuned up and ready for the full 16 game season. Most players chill and recover from the previous season during the spring and summer. Then go all out for some time at these pre season games. When there not in "game shape" there more prone to injuries. NFL teams carry like 80 players right now and only 53 when the season starts. More player playing, more injuries during pre season than when the regular season starts. Nothing new, just Portis hurts bad right now :sadcry:

If drafting today, quite a bit as does the Redskins future of the season. Luckily we should know his status in a few days and for sure in two weeks. And G, turn on your Yahoo messenger and accept my request.

The hopsital blocks the ports for the Yahoo and IM clients. IM has a web version I can use at work (it uses port 80) but I don't know about Yahoo. Google Talk and skype pass through as well. Even Skype video.

Can do it at home - still not quite sure I want to though ;-)

Yes, or trade or add/drop them.

You can keep them for as long as you like. You can drop a player the next day and pick up player who wasn't drafted. Or you can trade players with other teams.
