I use a de razor blade.

I just tried the knife method, cleanest cut I've ever had. I think I may be retiring my cutter.

Now, about your xikar... How would a person that doesn't work for Drew Estate go about finding one. I've never seen one before.

That was a one off sample we did. We hopefully will produce them at some point, but who knows.

Here's the knife I used for years. A carbon steel Opinel #6. I kept the cigar in the cellophane, cut through it and the cap, then the cigar went into a pocket or bag still protected by the cellophane.
