How is that stuff? You can only get it from one shop right?
A super tasty tobacco. Big Star Cigar sells it.

Very smooth. No tongue bite. Burned in the bowl nicely. I bought the tin in Dec 2000, then stopped smoking pipes until recently. I have this tin, 2 of GLP Haddos Delight (gave one away to a friend), and one of Frog Morton from 2000.

I've heard guys compare it to ms River, and say it's better, would you agree?

Spring strong sweet tall green grass grow...

Trying out a short pipe.
SPC Mississippi River in a Big Ben Ranger.
Redneck Rest from RedneckFab (itskmft) doubles as a nice pipe rest for the photo!
How do you like that Ranger? I've been eyeing them on the devil site. I have a Big Ben Presidential and it's a decent smoker...it can get quite warm sometimes though..
That's where I picked mine up too. I figured at $43 it was worth a shot. (I've now seen them go as low as $40) Just be aware that they really are small! You can see the wide mouth canning jar lid in the picture as reference.
I don't have much experience, and am in no place to say if it's good or bad, but I liked it. Took a little getting used to the size and weight compared to my others. It did smoke remarkably cool though. (again, take my lack of experience in to account there) I was expecting it to be much hotter with how little briar there was, but maybe the smaller bowl size helps to combat this. If I were you I'd drop a $40 max bid down everytime they show up until you end up winning one. It's worth a shot and you should be able to get most of that back out of it on eBay if you decide it's not for you. Hope this helps!

GH sweet maple twist in a bullshit basket briar as a work snack, watching the snow:

strong stuff, but a little one note? also not the easiest to work with. but it does show promise: going to try to blend it down with something else next time. still, tasty and very cool, and with thanks. o)

Just a quick PSA;
Aged tins of that are still available in P&C's "Vintage H&H" sale. 2oz @ $7.49, all tins have at least 4 years on them.
Cheers! :peace:
